A short Throng history

Pre-Sinking

Merlin is born in Atlantis
Vahalla Norse (Norse) is born in Atlantis
Karen Ban Nog (Killer) is born in Atlantis
Iris Gunn is born in Atlantis
Atlantis is wiped off the map, trapping Merlin, Norse, and Iris around the world.

Post-sinking

Merlin creates Athena Elder (Elder) around Stonehenge
Norse travels around the world.
Elder travels to North America, witnesses USA declare independence.
Elder gets her law degree and bar association in Maryland at the federal level.
Elder sues George Washington on behalf of a client for an unknown issue and settles out of court. Terms are not known.
Elder gets her law degree and bar association in California.

26th Century:

Dante Hayden (Hayden) is born in Hell, Michigan
Drake Felix (Vox) is born in Baltimore, Maryland
Cassiel Michael (Cass) is born in Atlantis
Various staff members are born and grow up.
Tundra (Yukon) is "born" (read: created) in Russia, soon escapes through Alaska. Chooses "Tundra Yukon" as a name.
Hayden attends college, makes genetic breakthroughs.
Vox attends college, but due to financial difficulties drops out.
Norse attends medical school (again), aces everything. "Curses" Ethan after a bad day at the bar.
Tony Prodan (Lights) attends college, does lighting/theater work on side.
Sahari (Stereo) attends college for sound engineering.
Killer travels from Atlantis to Metroburg on a mission to find Iris, Merlin, and Karen, and is picked up almost immediately by local government officials. A cover story is made as Killer as shi is brought in as a government employee.
Yukon learns music and guitar skills.
Lights does a gig in Seattle, impressing the local mob boss and gaining "a favor".
Stereo learns the trade from Surround in NYC.
Vox is hired by MTA Maryland as a junior programmer, upgrading old systems to newer tech.
Hayden moves to Metroburg to persue nanotech research, makes more breakthroughs. Hires Elder for assistance.
Yukon moves to Metroburg, gets minor gigs.
Norse moves to Metroburg, gets minor gigs.
Archer joins Elder's lawfirm.
Elder is introduced to Killer.
Kali Nova (Kali) travels to Metroburg for a gig, gets stuck, and takes a job at a record store that she eventually takes over. She learns sound mixing from an elder associate that runs a connected recording studio and production facility.
Stereo moves to Metroburg and takes on a position with Kali at the recording studio.
Hayden, Norse, Yukon perform at CGA. They realise they could be a good band together. They approach Elder with the idea. **THRONG** is formed, with Elder hiring Killer as a road manager.
Kali gets Throng to record in her studio. Their first rough CD is recorded here.
Stereo joins Throng as their main sound engineer, producing the first refined CD. CD's are sent to local stations and to Surround in NYC, who pulls some strings and gets more airplay.
Kali starts getting orders for Throng's CD.
Hayden calls Drake for a website to help Kali and the band. Drake's RetroTygris take it on and makes two, one for the band and one for Kali. Despite optimizations it struggles with demand.
Band decides to go on tour
Hauler "retires" from the Army to Metroburg, picks up job of driver/roadie for Throng. Pulls connections to get a bus for the band.
Hayden calls some friends: Coils is brought in as head roadie.
Scout is hired as PR and booking manager.
Lights is hired as a lighting engineer.
Small USA tour is a hit, requiring to upgrade venues mid-way through.
Elder's plan on taming the RIAA works, earning her keep and giving the band cash for upgrades.
CD gets international air play through organic means.
Kali starts upgrading production facilities, gets a vinyl record press.
First CD hits gold.
Hauler and Norse hit it off, eventually getting married in a small ceremony.
Throng is invited to play for South Africa charity. After vetting, they go.
Mussi collapses into Coils; Hayden performs a rebuild to save his... her life. Rebuild switches genders.
After some legal work, Norse and Hauler adopt Mussi to recover in Metroburg.
Vox is hired by Edge Data to enhance the production business management systems.
Band tours next ten years or so, producing two more CDs.
Band bus breaks down in Boston, starting "Going Station to Station" tour.
