What influenced the Throng series?

• The start was Yukon from a cerberus snep adopt. Everything grew from there.
• The basic premise of the first book was Station To Station a real-life nomadic journey by train with a rotating set of artists and musicians. The second through fourth books expanded on this. Some hints were dropped that ended up influencing book five.
• The fifth book was a mix of several influences
  • Strype deep dive into synthetic life, including conversion.
  • Egypt Urnash's "Decrypting Rita" which also meshes well with conversion.
